Hitchcock, Kubrick, James Bond and more - look forward to exciting insights into the connection between art & cinema!
Prominent works of art are often integrated into film scenes as eye-catchers and carriers of meaning. Scene images can also be reminiscent of the work of well-known artists or masterpieces of art history appear in the film as if by chance. Directors make use of this popularity of famous works of art and draw inspiration from them. In this lecture with our guide Petra Kissling-Koch, you can discover where we encounter famous works in the film or where the set resembles a painting! At our ONLINE ART BREAK you will have the opportunity to experience these masterpieces from the comfort of your own home and exchange ideas with other art-interested participants and the ART BREAKERS team. So: Enjoy Friday evening with a glass of wine with us and make yourself comfortable on the sofa! Photo credits: Unsplash / Thomas Kinto
