Travel experiences between San Francisco and New York
Together with professional astrophotographers, I experienced the total solar eclipse in Wyoming on 21 August 2017. I report on the seconds when the sky darkened in the middle of the day while the corona shone above the observers.
In my talk, I take you on my hiking trip through the southwest of the USA and to the highlights I experienced: The gambling city of Las Vegas, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Yosemite, Death Valley and San Francisco. I report on my helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon and the world metropolis of New York, which stands in complete contrast to it.
