Getting to know the October sky
In this live planetarium show, I'll show you what the night sky looks like right after my presentation tonight and later that night. It starts with satellites zooming across the sky in real time. Then we observe the stars and planets, celestial nebulae and star clusters of this evening and the next few days with Hubbie, the funny little man from the ESA/Hubble Institute who lives with me in the Bad Driburg Observatory. You can observe them wonderfully on the screen with many thousands of times magnification. At the end, I'll show you how to use a star chart, smartphone app and binoculars to find everything you see on your PC.
