My journey from Singapore to Sydney
After several days in Singapore, I travelled on the legendary Ghan, Australia's north-south rail link, from tropical Darwin to Alice Springs, and hiked around the gigantic Uluru and early in the morning in the rocks of Kata Tjuta.
I also visited the Aboriginal Cultural Centre, the Flying Doctor Service and the School of the Air, which uses the internet to teach children in the outback. As a passionate astronomer, I naturally also visited the thirteen Henbury meteorite craters south of Alice Springs.
