to the Star of Bethlehem
Horst Thiel, founder and director of the Bad Driburg Observatory, offers an exciting look at the Christmas sky with its planets and stars, star clusters and gas nebulae, which can often already be observed with binoculars, and gives instructions on how to find your way around. Then he takes the audience on a journey to the beginning of our era. He shows the sky at the time of the birth of Christ and lets the astronomical processes take place at that time, which are connected with the story of the Kings from the East and fascinate people all over the world.
The presentation is regularly used in school lessons.
